We have access to your data once you book direct through our website (Freetobook). We also collect data when you contact us by phone, email, text or Social Media.
We have access to data once you have paid on line via Swipe
We may collect data when you contact us to make an enquiry by phone, email, text or otherwise.
What do we collect:
We collect information relevant to the following purposes: this include personal details supplied by our guests or potential guests which include name, address, email address and telephone number, number of people in the party and their names and any information which may be relevant to the holiday such as physical or health details.
With regard to data collected by others mentioned above, please refer to the relevant companies own privacy policy.
How we use your data:
We use your data to enable us to communicate with our guests with a means of renting and paying for holiday accommodation, to answer any query about the accommodation and provide information regarding arrival, departure and any information for the holiday.
We use your data to send the occasional newsletter and special offers via emails using MailChimp or Madmimi. In order to achieve this, we manage a list of names and email addresses. This will be on the list after clear consent by way of opting in box on the contract that we sent with the booking.
We use your data to fulfil our legal obligations.
All the data that you submit will not be disclosed to a third party unless we are obliged or permitted to do so.
How long do we store your data: We retain data for tax and legal purposes for seven years.
Security of personal data and information: We take appropriate and proportionate measures to secure your personal information and data and to protect it against unlawful use and/or accidental loss. Access to data held by us is limited to the data controller
Your rights: You have a right to require that we provide you with any personal data we hold about you and have it amended or deleted. Please contact us by email if you wish to do so.
Competition Terms and Conditions

The competition is open to anyone 18 years or over except employees of Annexe Yew Tree Cottage and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
By entering this competition, an entrant indicates his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The route to entry for the competition is to like the post on our Facebook Page.
Any additional action (including sharing a post, commenting, watch party, tagging etc.) are done at the entrant’s discretion and do not impact the outcome of the giveaway.
We will not contact any entrant via Direct Message to say they have won the giveaway and ask for payment.
Please do not give any billing information via messenger on Facebook to anyone who might try and pass off as an employee of Annexe Yew Tree Cottage
We have the right sometimes to allow more than one entry per competition. We will notify you specifically in the post if this is the case
The closing date for entry will be stated in the post of the Facebook page. After this date, then no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Winners will be chosen randomly via the software platform that we will share if anyone wants to know more.
A notification will notify the winner within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
The promoter will notify the winner when and where the prize can be collected.
The promoter’s decision regarding all matters to do with the competition will be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
