Reason for personal information:

We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal data and only use this information to provide the services that you have requested from us. We need to fulfil our contractual obligations to our guests and potential guests.  We process personal information to enable us to maintain our accounts and records.

Our privacy procedures have been implemented to comply with GDPR which has been effective from May 25, 2018.  For this purpose Marie-France Perkins is the Data Controller.

For bookings made through OTA such as Trip Advisor (Holiday Letting & Flipkey), Airbnb, you will need to refer to their privacy policy

How we collect data: 

We have access to your data once you book direct through our website (Freetobook).  We also collect data when you contact us by phone, email, text or Social Media.

We have access to data once you have paid on line via Swipe

We may collect data when you contact us to make an enquiry by phone, email, text or otherwise.

What do we collect: 

We collect information relevant to the following purposes: this include personal details supplied by our guests or potential guests which include name, address, email address and telephone number, number of people in the party and their names and any information which may be relevant to the holiday such as physical or health details.

With regard to data collected by others mentioned above, please refer to the relevant companies own privacy policy.

How we use your data: 

We use your data to enable us to communicate with our guests with a means of renting and paying for holiday accommodation, to answer any query about the accommodation and provide information regarding arrival, departure and any information for the holiday.

We use your data to send the occasional newsletter and special offers via emails using MailChimp or Madmimi.  In order to achieve this, we manage a list of names and email addresses.  This will be on the list after clear consent by way of opting in box on the contract that we sent with the booking.

We use your data to fulfil our legal obligations.

All the data that you submit will not be disclosed to a third party unless we are obliged or permitted to do so.

How long do we store your data: We retain data for tax and legal purposes for seven years.

Security of personal data and information: We take appropriate and proportionate measures to secure your personal information and data and to protect it against unlawful use and/or accidental loss. Access to data held by us is limited to the data controller

Your rights: You have a right to require that we provide you with any personal data we hold about you and have it amended or deleted. Please contact us by email if you wish to do so.
