We had a lovely 3 night stay at this beautiful accommodation. Marie-France was so helpful sending us a guidebook prior to our stay so we could properly plan our trip beforehand. Once we arrived the place was extremely clean, in a perfect rural spot. We had absolutely everything we needed, the location was lovely and very peaceful. I would absolutely recommend staying here and would visit again!

We recently booked The Annexe for family members who were visiting us. They found the accommodation to be spotlessly clean, well equipped and very comfortable. They loved the views to the front and seeing the cows pass along the lane and enjoyed walking around the lovely garden and meeting all the chickens, birds and fish. The welcome pack was a nice surprise too.
They would definitely stay there again and would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful setting in which to relax.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Annexe Yew Tree Cottage and highly recommend it for anyone visiting Bath or Bristol. Marie-France and Mark took the time to give us a warm welcome and made us feel at home in their very comfortable, spotless and tastefully furnished Annexe, set in a very beautiful garden. The comprehensive information pack provided everything guests could possibly want to know, although Marie-France and Mark were on hand to chat and provide more information if required. The accommodation award they have received is well-deserved and an appropriate testimony to the high standard they have achieved.

We had a delightful stay. The annex is very comfortable and very well equipped. The owners are really nice people. The annex is in a beautiful country setting but is very well placed for visiting tourist attractions. I am sure this has been said many times before but it is completely true.

A wonderful comfortable stay at the Annexe again. From the minute we came through the gate, we felt "at home". The welcome pack was very much appreciated and we thoroughly enjoyed the powerful shower and comfortable bed.

We were made very welcome - the eggs, cake and milk on arrival were much appreciated. The apartment was as described, in a beautiful garden and very peaceful. Beautiful place to stay. Very clean and welcoming. The garden is amazing. The Spring flowers and blossoms re a delight to see. Marie-France and Mark are very welcoming and helpful. Lots of very thoughtful touches: fresh flowers, lemon drizzle cake and fudge, fresh eggs. The view are stunning! The whole Annexe is beautifully layed out and well-equipped- love the shower. A fantastic find. We hope to return for a longer stay.

An absolute gem of a place! I was travelling for work in Bristol and always look for somewhere nestled in the countryside with a beautiful outdoor space as I’m a huge nature lover, and this place didn’t disappoint! The garden was absolutely gorgeous and the sound of the birds was so peaceful, I wish I had more spare time to enjoy it! The accommodation itself was beautiful too, it had everything you could possibly need for a short stay and it was lovely and clean! Marie-France was a lovely host who went the extra mile to provide so much information, including very clear directions as well as local recommendations. She was also extremely helpful and brought some sugar when I realised the sugar jar was empty, saving me a trip to the shop! I would absolutely book this again next time I’m in the area 🥰 A really wonderful stay :)

Amazing cottage to stay. It has everything you need, facilities are great, very safe and secure parking and a great location with peaceful surroundings. Comfortable beds and very user friendly heating and other appliances, plenty of kitchen equipment to cook meals. Will definitely be coming back again, it was perfect.

This was one of the best places I have stayed at. It had everything we needed, from the clean airy accommodation, to the surrounding areas and the complete peace and quiet. The wee gifts on arrival took me back to my childhood days. The gardens were beautiful with many little areas to enjoy. Mark and Marie France were the perfect hosts. Perfect location and lovely property.
We couldn't have asked for more, warm and cisy, extremely comfortable bed, all appliances and facilities you could need and really well located for both Bath and Bristol. There's also a lovely pub in the village where we had an excellent Sunday roast, and loads of lanes and footpaths to explore all round the property. We hope to come again.

The Annexe was a very nice place to stay and explore the historic region, from Avebury to Bath and Glastonbury. Quiet and green. Lovely garden, with many birds enjoying the mulberries.

The Annexe is a beautiful cottage. Very nicely reconstructed and carefully decorated and maintained, spacious and with a great and huge garden around. It was very clean and well equipped. Also the location is great: in the countryside, but close to Bath, Bristol and the Cotswolds; walks directly from the house possible, and restaurants, pubs and a big supermarket at a reasonable distance. Mark and Marie-France are very friendly and warm hosts. We had a splendid stay. Highly recommended.
