Opening after Lockdown
On 12th April, we welcomed guests again in the Annexe Yew Tree Cottage. What a joy it is to meet some of our regular guests again and getting acquainted with new visitors to our holiday let.
It has been so lovely for so many of you to meet up with family and friends even if you have had to wear extra layers and coats because of not being allowed indoors despite the cold and wet weather.
What have we done during lockdown?
During lockdown , I have been exploring our local area and discovered many lovely walks. Our visitors have certainly enjoyed them too!
We have been busy outside too. As you know i am a very keen gardener and we have now a beautiful greenhouse in the vegetable garden. Our tomatoes are growing well and we will be able to share our produce with our guests.
We have also laid a new patio outside. Unfortunately the flagstones had become too dangerous to walk on and it is now a beautiful area to relax. We have also built a wall at the back of the Annexe with steps to a gravel area. A nice area to enjoy a drink or read a book.
And now?
We are slowly getting back to normal. We are fully vaccinated but make sure that we follow all the national guidelines to make sure that the Annexe is safe for you to visit. We have regained our 4*Gold Award from Visit England which is lovely!
Life is going back to normal in Bath and Bristol as well, with shops, museums and restaurants now opened. The Park and Ride buses are so convenient to take you to the centre of these cities: They certainly need our support to bounce back again!
We are looking forward to welcoming in the Annexe. Do not hesitate to contact us for that special holiday!
