we had a lovely relaxing stay. The location was perfect - we visited Bristol, bibury, castle combe and lacock. The hosts were really lovely and friendly and we felt very welcome. Had our own little patio to eat in the evenings.

What a lovely stay we had at The Annexe Yew Tree Cottage. Such a picturesque cottage, the gardens are amazing, the colourful splendour of the flowers and the setting just blew us away. The cottage is immaculate inside and out, and set in such tranquil surroundings. We couldn’t fault a thing with this amazing holiday cottage. Marie - France and Mark were brilliant hosts, very helpful regarding places to visit in the area. Very friendly hosts, who made our stay very enjoyable.

Can’t wait to return, the accommodation and location were just perfect, being so close to busy Bath and Cotswolds makes it so convenient but to return at the end of the day to the relaxing surroundings was amazing. The garden was beautiful and the hosts were just lovely, we very much enjoyed the welcome pack which included home grown tomatoes, lemon cake and fudge.

We arrived at the Annex after a long haul flight and found the Annex to be one of the most warm, clean and comfortable home-from-home holiday cottage. We received a gorgeous welcome pack of local delicious treats. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom benefits from a superb power shower (great after a long day walking through the glorious fields and countryside right on the door-step). Mark and Marie France are the most accommodating hosts. We were welcome to wander around their extensive gardens, meet their chickens. Their knowledge of the area is fantastic too. The Annex is ideal for couples wanting to explore the area (Bath, Bristol, Cotswolds and West Country) with plenty of walks along the Cotswold Way and general footpaths. We didn't have any faults or issues with the annex at all and would highly recommend choosing this holiday cottage if visiting this area of England.
